Bernard Baran
Senior Manager of Operations and Client Services
After attending McGill University in Montreal, Canada to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance, he moved to the United States in 1978. He started and sold several businesses, until deciding to join Stillwater Wealth Management.
Bernard joined Stillwater Wealth Management, Inc. in 2020, providing support to Walter Chown in servicing clients, with particular emphasis on detailed Financial Plans, technology, and daily operations.
He has passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams. Securities registrations are held through LPL Financial.
Bernard decided to join Stillwater because he shared the vision that was evident -a purpose to help others strive toward their goals. He enjoys being part of a team process that helps clients pursue their dreams.
Bernard lives in Jacksonville with his wife, Linda. They have three rescue cats (Layla, Koko, and Keke), and enjoys to babysit his daughter’s pets. He has a passion for planning travel and enjoys experiencing the exploration of new places with friends.
